Not everyone knows that belly dancing is part of Greek culture, so it’s not surprising that Eleni was born with a love for music and dance in her blood! She was also fortunate to have a professional belly dancer in her family: her Aunt Jenny was one of the first belly dancers to perform in Sydney, and helped establish belly dance in Australia alongside icons like Amera Eid. Aunt Jenny has been an invaluable teacher and mentor to Eleni throughout her career.
Eleni is now a well-known professional belly dancer and instructor in her own right.
She has travelled overseas and within Australia to perfect her art with internationally-respected teachers, to perform and to teach. She is now settled back in Sydney and looking forward to renewing her relationship with audiences here.
